Brazil’s official inflation, as measured by the National Broad Consumer Price Index—the IPCA—stood at 0.33% in July, down 1.26% from June. This brings the inflation up to 2.94% year-to-date and 4.48% and 4.48% in the 12-month period.
Figures were released today (Aug. 8) by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE).
