President Michel Temer was released from the Hospital Sírio-Libanês today (Nov. 27), in São Paulo. Temer underwent an angioplasty procedure Friday (24), which included the relief of obstructions in three coronary arteries and the introduction of two stents.
The surgery lasted about an hour and a half, and is said to have been necessary and likely to increase Temer's quality of life and longevity.
On his Twitter , Temer thanked the doctors and the population for their . “Good morning! I am grateful for the care provided by the medical team and the affection from the people who ed me and prayed for me. I'll be back at work soon,” he wrote.
